My name is Mike Ferraro, and I have had the privilege of serving as a State Farm agent for over 30 years. My journey in this vibrant industry has been deeply rooted in both family legacy and a commitment to community, shaping not only my career but also my approach to life and service.
I was born and raised in a family that valued hard work, integrity, and the importance of giving back. My path to becoming a State Farm agent began at St. John's University in Queens, NY, where I graduated with a strong foundation in business principles. The education I received there was instrumental in equipping me with the skills necessary to navigate the complexities of the insurance world.
As a second-generation State Farm agent, my family's ties to this esteemed company run deep. Following in the footsteps of my relatives, who have proudly served State Farm Insurance products, I embraced the opportunity to carry on a tradition that emphasizes integrity and reliability. This lineage has not only provided me with a wealth of knowledge but has also instilled in me a passion for helping others secure their goals.
In 1981, I made the life-changing decision to move Southern California, where I opened my State Farm office. My office is in Newport Beach California. This beautiful coastal community offered a unique backdrop for my work, and I quickly became committed to serving the diverse needs of my customers. My team and I are also licensed to do business in Arizona, Nevada and Oregon. We look forward to serving consumers in those states as well.
Over the years, I have focused on the four main products offered by State Farm: Auto, Life, Fire, and Health insurance, along with Variable products. This breadth of services allows me to provide comprehensive coverage tailored to each customer’s needs.
One of the most rewarding aspects of my role as an agent is the opportunity to connect with customers on a personal level. In the current California insurance environment, I understand the challenges people face. My mission is to find ways to save my customers money while delivering exemplary service 24/7/365. I believe that insurance is not just about policies—it's about building relationships and providing service.
Beyond the office, my greatest joy comes from my family. I am married to my wonderful wife, Tina, and together we have raised three beautiful children. Our family has expanded even further, as we now have ten grandchildren who bring immeasurable happiness into our lives. Each day, I strive to embody the values of love, support, and hard work that I hope to pass on to the next generation.
Reflecting on my journey, I am grateful for the relationships I have built and the lives I have touched throughout my career. Being a State Farm agent is more than just a job for me; it’s a calling that allows me to serve my community, uphold my family’s legacy, and provide for my own family. As I look to the future, I remain committed to adapting to the ever-changing landscape of the insurance industry while continuing to prioritize the needs of my customers and my community.
